EAST LANSING, Mich. — The Irish (22-20, 7-17 ACC) will travel to East Lansing for a road midweek against Michigan State (19-21, 7-8 B1G) before hosting ACC foe Pittsburgh (18-22, 5-16 ACC) for a three-game weekend series. Led by John P. and Catherine Murphy Head Baseball Coach Shawn Stiffler in his second season with the Irish, Notre Dame welcomes 19 newcomers to the roster.
Notre Dame garnered national attention over the past two weeks with two statement conference series wins, the first a sweep of Boston College capped by a combined no-hitter, and the second a series win over No. 8 Wake Forest, punctuated with a ninth-inning walkoff home run to secure the series victory.
The Irish are ranked No. 49 in the RPI, and will look to secure a spot in the ACC Tournament in Charlotte, N.C. May 21-26.
