SOUTH BEND, Ind. — Days before walking across the stage to receive his diploma from the University of Notre Dame, former Irish forward Tyler Carpenter signed his first professional contract with the Mont-Blanc Yetis Hockey Club of the France2 league.
“I can’t wait to join the club and start this new chapter,” Carpenter said in a release posted by the hockey club. “I can’t wait to meet everyone and get to work.”
In four seasons with the Irish, Carpenter dressed in 107 contests and posted 19 points. In his final season at Notre Dame, he was named an alternate captain and registered a goal and an assist while appearing in all 38 games.
Carpenter is set to make his debut with Mont-Blanc in 2025-26.
