Aaron Horvath is in his first year as a Fighting Irish Digital Media communications assistant within the University of Notre Dame Athletic Department.
In his current role, Horvath will be tasked with being the editor of the department's expansive blog network, working on special projects pertaining to social media and communications as well as being the primary contact for a variety of Fighting Irish athletic squads.
Prior to his new position at Notre Dame, Horvath was the assistant sports information director and social media coordinator at DePauw University (Greencastle, Ind.). While at DePauw he was responsible for daily departmental tasks, rebranding of department trademarks and the potential re-launch of the athletics webpage.
In his first stint at Notre Dame, Horvath worked in the athletics media relations department, working on special projects and gameday materials. Among his many publication accolades, he is most proud of his involvement with the 2010 football program winning CoSIDA`s top honor for gameday programs.
Additionally, Horvath has had the unique opportunity to work with a variety of business within the sporting industry such as Callaway Golf Company, Adidas, Indiana University Department of Athletics and the Hoosier Sports Corporation.
A 2011 graduate of Indiana University (Bloomington), Horvath is currently pursuing his master's degree in business administration.
