Brent Henningfeld is entering his eighth year at the University of Notre Dame and second with Athletics Advancement. In his role as coordinator, Henningfeld is heavily involved in data-gathering and organizational processes while also managing the day-to-day activities of the Senior Director of Athletics Advancement.

This is Henningfeld's second stint in Development within Athletics, after working from August 2012 through January 2013 with the Athletic Department's External Affairs Office, interning with the Rockne Heritage Fund and the Joyce Grants-In-Aid program. His main priorities included helping with scheduling and coordination of the Recognition Weekends for both funds, as well as tracking all gifts made to the JGIA program.

In between roles with the Department of Athletics Advancement, Henningfeld worked as an intern with the University's sports camps department. In this role, he aided in the maintenance and oversight of all summer camps offered by the 26 varsity sports at Notre Dame. Additionally, he served as the liaison between the camps office and the coaching staff with regards to camp numbers and registration.

Henningfeld began his time at Notre Dame working in the Athletics Media Relations Office beginning August 2007 through August 2012. In this role, he worked as the primary contact for men's golf, women's tennis, fencing and rowing, while serving as the co-primary for women's lacrosse.

Before arriving at Notre Dame, Henningfeld worked as an operations intern with the South Bend Silver Hawks, a Class-A affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks during the summer of 2005.

Henningfeld graduated from Ball State University in 2007 with a degree in Sport Administration, with a minor in Foundations of Business. He currently resides in South Bend and enjoys watching sports and cheering on all Chicago-based teams in his free time.
