Brent Henningfeld began working with the University of Notre Dame in the summer of 2007. Beginning in February of 2013, Henningfeld began his new position as an intern with the University's sports camps department. In this role, Henningfeld is aiding in the maintenance and oversight of all summer camps offered by the 26 varsity sports at Notre Dame. Additionally, Henningfeld also serves as the liaison between the camps office and the coaching staff with regards to camp numbers and registration.
Prior to moving to camps, Henningfeld worked from August 2012 through January 2013 with the University's Department of Athletics External Affairs, interning with the Rockne Heritage Fund and the Joyce Grants-In-Aid program. His main priorities included helping with scheduling and coordination of the Recognition Weekends for both funds, as well as tracking all gifts made to the JGIA program.
Before arriving at Notre Dame, Henningfeld worked as an operations intern with the South Bend Silver Hawks, a Class-A affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks, during the summer of 2005.
Henningfeld graduated from Ball State University in 2007 with a degree in Sport Administration with a minor in the Foundations of Business. He currently resides in Granger, Ind.
