Cathy Brown, an administrative assistant for the Office of Recreational Sports, has been a member of the University of Notre Dame staff since 1989.
Brown started working at Notre Dame in the Monogram Club office and worked with Rev. James Riehle, C.S.C. In 1998, the Notre Dame Monogram Club awarded her an honorary monogram. Brown joined RecSports in 2003 serving the director's administrative needs.
A native of South Bend, Ind., Brown is married to Rex Brown and the couple has two children: Amber, and Ashley, a `08 Saint Mary's College graduate. Brown has two grandsons (Jayden and Brady).
In her spare time, Brown enjoys spending time with her family as well as traveling.
