Ryan Camden joined the Notre Dame Athletics Department in August 2011 when he was named an assistant producer at Fighting Irish Digital Media (FIDM).
In his position, Camden is responsible for creating compelling video content for all 26 varsity sports and providing on-air talent work for WatchND.tv and ESPN3.
During his first year with FIDM, Camden received 'rave' reviews for his work during WatchND's first live broadcast of the annual Bengal Bouts boxing event. He has also helped cover some of Notre Dame's recent, prolific athletic achievements, including the 2013 Men's Soccer's National Championship run, Football's 2012 BCS trip, and the Olympic Sports' first year in the Atlantic Coast Conference during the 2013-14 academic year.
Prior to coming to South Bend, Camden was a Broadcast Director at the BEK Sports Network in North Dakota. While there, he helped produce and provide play-by-play for over 200 live events across the state.
Camden received his Bachelor of Arts and Sciences Degree from Ball State University in 2010, majoring in Telecommunications. At Ball State, he was the voice of Ball State Football for two years and a member of the award-winning sports immersion program Sports Link.
When he is not telling some of the Golden Dome's best stories, Camden can be found going to concerts, ranting about the Indianapolis Colts, and indulging in the culinary arts.
Camden was born May 1988, in Richmond, Ind., and currently resides in South Bend.
