Ryan Scott Camden joined the Notre Dame Athletic Department in August 2011 when he was named an assistant producer at Fighting Irish Digital Media.
In his position at Notre Dame, Camden is responsible for creating video news packages for all 26 varsity sports, producing live sporting events and providing play-by-play and color commentary for productions on UND.com.
During his first year with Fighting Irish Digital Media, Camden received `rave' reviews for his commentary during UND.com's first live broadcast of the annual Bengal Bouts boxing event.
Before coming to South Bend (Ind.), Camden was a broadcast director at BEK Sports Network in North Dakota producing and commentating on many high school sporting events throughout the state.
Camden received his Bachelor of Arts and Sciences degree from Ball State University in 2010, majoring in Telecommunications. While at Ball State, he was the voice of Ball State Football for two years and a member of the award-winning immersion program, Sports Link.
When he is not at work editing videos, Camden enjoys scuba diving, going to live concerts, playing basketball and indulging in the culinary arts.
Camden was born May 12, 1988, in Richmond, Ind., and currently resides in South Bend, Ind.
