Dan Colleran Position: Sports Information Intern First Year at ND: 2008

Dan Colleran joined the Notre Dame sports information staff in 2008, taking over media relations responsibilities for the Irish men's and women's fencing, men's tennis and men's and women's golf programs, while also helping out with the school's women's soccer and ice hockey teams.

A native of Walpole, Mass., Colleran arrived at Notre Dame after spending two years as a graduate assistant in the Providence College sports information office while working on his MBA (marketing concentration), which he received in May 2008. Colleran graduated from Providence with his bachelor's degree in English in 2006, and worked in the PC sports information office as a student assistant from 2002-06.

As a graduate assistant at Providence, Colleran served as the primary contact for the Friars' women's hockey and women's soccer programs, while assisting with the PC men's hockey, men's soccer, softball, men's basketball and men's lacrosse squads.
