John Foster, General Manager and Head Golf Professional, has been at the Warren Golf Course at Notre Dame since 2002
.
Prior to coming to Notre Dame, Foster was a teaching professional at Blackthorn Golf Club in South Bend for two years. Prior to entering the golf business, Foster was the Director of International Sales and Marketing for the Biotechnology Division of Bayer, AG.
Over the past ten years, the Warren Golf course has served as host to over 20 NCAA, USGA and WGA tournaments and championships. Foster served as tournament chairman for numerous USGA and NCAA events and was the General Chairman of the 2010 United States Women's Amateur Public Links Championships held at the Warren Course. He has been a member of the Titleist Home Professional Staff since 2003.
In his capacity as General Manager, Foster oversees both the golf and maintenance operations of the Warren Golf Course and Notre Dame Golf Course.
He is a graduate of Indiana State University with a bachelor's degree in Biology.
