Brent Henningfield began his job as a media relations assistant with the University of Notre Dame in July of 2010. In this role, Henningfeld has served as the media liaison and sport contact for men's golf, women's tennis, fencing and rowing while serving as the co-contact for women's lacrosse and secondary contact for women's soccer.
Prior to stepping into his current role, Henningfeld served as an office aide from August '07 to June '10. He was responsible for the management of student workers in addition to assisting the staff with projects for any of the 26 varsity sports.
Before arriving at Notre Dame, Henningfeld worked as an operations intern with the South Bend Silver Hawks, a Class-A affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks, during the summer of '05.
Henningfeld graduated from Ball State University in '07 with a degree in sports administration with a minor in the Foundations of Business. He currently resides in Granger, Ind.
