Shirley Hums Position: Technical Support Consultant/Analyst

Shirley Hums is a Technical Support Consultant/Analyst for the Notre Dame athletics department. She serves as a primary resource to assist department staff in computer-related issues, including the maintenance and support for microcomputer hardware, software and peripherals.

Upon graduation from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science degree, Hums taught in the South Bend Community School Corporation. She then worked several years in the Notre Dame Athletics Ticket Office before moving into her current position.

Hums also received a degree in the Master of Science in Administration program at Notre Dame. She is married to Edward Hums, a graduate of Notre Dame, who is an instructor in the Mendoza College of Business at Notre Dame.
