She is responsible for the marketing and promotions for the Compton Family Ice Arena and the free admission/non-ticketed sporting events at Notre Dame, such as cross country, fencing, golf, rowing, swimming & diving, tennis, and track & field.
Prior to this position, Stoutenburgh worked for event marketing in the Notre Dame athletics department from August 2010 until May 2013, assisting coordinators in the execution of in-game promotions. During the summers of 2011 and 2012, she served as an intern for The Marketing Arm in Dallas, Texas. In that role, she oversaw the Hilton Worldwide and U.S. Olympic Team sponsorship by managing the usage of contractual assets. She also planned and executed the Hilton Worldwide Olympic Hospitality program for over 200 hotel owners and executives to attend the London Olympic Games, which she was on site in London for the duration of the Games.
Stoutenburgh received her Bachelor's Degree in Marketing from the University of Notre Dame in May of 2013, where she also minored in Journalism, Ethics, and Democracy. During her time as a student, Stoutenburgh was very involved in the athletics department. She was the Vice President of the Leprechaun Legion and helped to expand the organization to cover all varsity sports rather than just basketball. She also conducted an independent research project during the fall of 2012 to explore what components go into creating the best college football stadium atmosphere. She traveled to The Ohio State University, the University of Oregon, and the University of Alabama to observe a game and talk with their event marketing coordinators about their gameday philosophies and strategies.
