Joe Nagle is entering his third year as a member of the Notre Dame athletics equipment staff. Since joining the staff in the fall of 2010 as Assistant Equipment Manager, Nagle helps oversee the University's 26 varsity sports other than football and ice hockey, working specifically with nine sports (Cheerleading, Women's Soccer, Men's Swimming, Fencing, Men's & Women's Lacrosse, Rowing and Baseball). Additionally, Nagle assists with Game Management, serving as Game Manager for all home events for Men's Ice Hockey and Men's and Women's Lacrosse.
A native of Mishawaka, Ind., Nagle earned his bachelor's degree in 2008 from Ball State University in Sport Administration, while also minoring in Marketing. Upon graduation, Nagle served as an office aide with the Media Relations Department at Notre Dame from the spring of 2008, through the winter of 2009. Nagle then served as the Assistant Sports Information Director at Union College (an NAIA member) in Barbourville, Ky., from February to August of 2010. Nagle has been a member of the AEMA (Athletic Equipment Managers Association) since 2011.
Nagle now resides in South Bend, Ind.
