Sarah Ryckman, who works with RecSports as an aquatics coordinator, began working for Notre Dame in January 2009.
A native of New Bern, N.C., Ryckman worked for the United States Coast Guard in 2008 as the aquatics supervisor in Elizabeth City, N.C. Prior to her time spent with the United States Coast Guard, Ryckman worked for the YMCA of Australia as an aquatics specialist.
Ryckman, who is a current resident of Mishawka, Ind., enjoys traveling, sailing, and triathlons. Ryckman received her bachelor's degree in english from Western Carolina University in 2008. She is currently working on her master's degree in recreation and sports management from the University of Illinois.
