Jody Sadler is in her ninth year as a member of the Notre Dame athletics administration staff, serving as associate athletics director for administration. In her role, she is responsible for all internal personnel management, development and communication, internship program, service metrics and innovation. She serves as the liaison with the University's Department of Human Resources and General Counsel's Office on policy and personnel matters and is the administrator for the rowing program. Sadler also is a member of the NCAA Division I Rowing Committee and serves as chair of the BIG EAST Rowing Championship Committee. Sadler graduated from Notre Dame in 1992 with a bachelor's degree in marketing. Following graduation, she worked for Advanced Drainage Systems in Columbus, Ohio, as a corporate/international accounts representative from 1992-94. She then took a job with the South Bend Tribune as a human resources assistant from 1994-95. From 1995-99, Sadler worked for Quality Dining, Inc., in Mishawaka as a human resources generalist before going to the NCAA in 1999 as a human resources coordinator. Sadler has worked in all capacities of the human resource profession including staffing, training, compensation analysis, policy and procedure development, succession planning, employee counseling and career development. She is married to Les Sadler, formerly of Rushville, Ind. Her father, Tony Yelovich, is the assistant athletics director for game management at Notre Dame. Sadler is currently enrolled in Notre Dame's Executive MBA program and will graduate in May of 2010. |
