Stephanie Horvath is in her second year as the Notre Dame Sports Nutrition Associate. In her current role within sports performance, she assists program director Kayla Matrunick with coordinating the dietary needs for all 26 varsity sport programs at Notre Dame.
Horvath graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Health Sciences where she rowed with the Varsity Women's Rowing program for 4 years. She earned her Master of Nutrition degree from Kent State University while gaining her RD credentials. She received a second Master's Degree in Education from Virginia Tech while working as the Sports Nutrition Graduate Assistant, directly prior to being hired at Notre Dame.
Born in Racine, Wis. just outside Milwaukee, Horvath grew up in South Bend and is a graduate of St. Joseph's High School. She is a Board Certified Sports Dietitian within the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and an active member of CPSDA, the Collegiate and Professional Sports Dietitians Association.
