Alexander J. Stone is the newest hire within the Compliance department. Stone started at the University of Notre Dame in the fall of 2012.
Hailing originally from Somerset, N.J., Stone graduated from Xavier University with a bachelors of art degree in TV Broadcast Journalism. He minored in Communication Studies.
Prior to coming to Notre Dame, Stone worked as a camera man at WDSU-Channel 6. He also worked in a civil district court, at the Davillier Law group, and the Hurricane Legal Center.
Stone was a four-year student-athlete at Xavier, and was a key player on the basketball squad. He is engaged to his fiancée, Fatimah, and the couple is set to wed in December of 2012.
Outside of work, Stone enjoys playing basketball and football with his two children, Robert and Irvin, and spending time with his family outdoors. Says Stone, "I put God first and invest all the rest of my time and efforts into my family: loving my kids and trying to keep my wife happy. God. Family, Notre Dame."
Stone currently resides in South Bend.
