Alan Wasielewski is entering his seventh year in the athletics digital media department at the University of Notre Dame. In 2011, Fighting Irish Digital Media was formed and Wasielewski works as a lead producer with that group after spending the previous five years as the Director of Digital Media with Notre Dame Sports Properties.
Fighting Irish Digital Media is responsible for all live and on-demand video content created for the Notre Dame Athletics Department. FIDM produces over 100 live events each athletic calendar year, while also providing in-depth features, highlight packages and historical retrospectives for all 26 varsity sports.
Before his move to digital media at Notre Dame, Wasielewski spent five years in the University's media relations department as an assistant director where he worked with the men's and women's cross country, men's and women's track and field, men's and women's swimming, volleyball, men's soccer, men's basketball and football teams.
A South Bend, Ind., native, Wasielewski also served four years in the United States Navy (1992-1996) as a Cryptologic Technician before graduating from Notre Dame in 2000.
