Matt Weldy is in his third year with the Notre Dame summer sports camps program, and first as its coordinator, taking over the reins on Jan. 1, 2013, after previously serving in that role on an interim basis from July-December 2012, following a stint as summer sports camps intern.
Before coming to Notre Dame in 2010, Weldy completed work on his bachelor's degree in Sport Management from Indiana University, graduating in 2009.
In his free time, Weldy enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching football, fishing, grilling, and playing pick-up basketball and slow-pitch softball. Weldy also is an assistant coach on the football team at South Bend's St. Joseph High School, working with the Indians' wide receivers.
Weldy is the youngest of three children, and is the proud uncle of Madeline (11) and Ford (2 months).
