Sandy Young, who is a senior financial assistant in the business office, has been a member of the University of Notre Dame staff since 1994.
Young originally worked in the Notre Dame cashiers office from 1994 until 1996. In 1996, she moved to the athletic business office as a bookkeeper for three years before moving to the athletic ticket office as a bookkeeper for two more years. Young was promoted to the ticket and parking services coordinator for three years. From 2003 to 2008, Sandy worked in the athletic business office as a financial assistant. In 2008, Sandy was promoted to senior financial assistant. Prior to arriving at Notre Dame, Young worked 11 years at valley American Bank as an operations manager.
Young is married to Brian Young, and the couple has two children--Steve who is serving in the United States Air Force, and Jessica who is a 2010 Notre Dame graduate. Young also has a one-year old granddaughter.
