On her gameplan:
"The plan going in was for me to finish at the net. She was serving well. I was just trying to run everything down, keep the points alive."

On Bleszynski playing at the net:
"I played her my freshman year and she attacked the net a lot, so I figured she would play that way again. Early, she stayed back more, but by the end of the match, she was at the net every point."

On her future:
"I'm taking tomorrow and Sunday off. I will be coming back to school for one more year (her senior year) and playing a lot."

Ania Bleszynski (Stanford) 3-6, 4-6 loser to Vanessa Webb (Duke) (4 seed):

"Her game went right; my game didn't go so right. She played a tough match. I didn't play badly; I just didn't finish out a lot of the points. I had a lot of opportunities, but I let her back into the points. She was playing really consistently, and I was missing some shots. She's also a quick player, so she got a lot of balls back. My serve wasn't working so well today. The sun on one side and the wind on the other kind of threw it off, and she was also returning well, so that also hurt."

On her mindset:
"I was sort of nervous last night, and this morning I was less nervous, but I didn't feel it in my stroke; I didn't feel like I was tight at all."

On the tournament:
"Right now, I'm disappointed on losing my match. But in a couple of days, probably even later tonight, I'll get over it. I think that I had a good tournament, and I'm happy to even get this far. I'm glad that I have confidence in my game again."
