Since 2006, the University of Notre Dame athletic department, in cooperation with Notre Dame Sports Properties and Centennial Wireless, has provided fans the opportunity to receive free* text alerts updating them on Irish athletics on their wireless communication devices. All 26 Notre Dame varsity sports are covered by Irish ALERT, so fans can choose which team(s) they want to follow via text message. To sign up for Irish ALERT, click here.
