Rutgers was a disappointing game for us. As a team we obviously didn't play as well as we wanted to.
Individually I didn't play as well as I wanted. I shot the ball pretty bad and fell into foul trouble early in the game.
Kelly and Erika played well, but the team wasn't there. It was a tough, physical game that hopefully prepared us for the Big East and NCAA tournaments.
Miami was our next opponent and we seemed to have bounced back from the loss to Rutgers. It was a home game in front of a good crowd welcoming us back. We played together and were more aggressive from the beginning of the game. We took our chances and didn't give any back, which had been lacking in previous games.
The Miami game was also the first game of the year when everyone scored. It was a chance to get the bench some quality minutes. We are going to need them in the coming weeks. You can't win the NCAA tournament playing just 6 or 7 players.
Senior Night celebration took place this last weekend before the Georgetown game. Looking up and seeing the four players you have been through so much with out there for the final regular season home game caught us off guard.
The crowd was awesome. The Georgetown game had been sold out for about two weeks prior, which is amazing because the Connecticut game didn't sell out until a couple of days before.
What can I say about my fellow seniors? All I can say is it will be hard once this season does come to an end. We are very close, and I know after this season, after graduation, we will keep in contact with each other. It has been so much fun
