Hard-working walk-on who has positioned himself into the top four of the men�s epee squad � his preseason training in the fall of 2001 was ended by a knee injury that caused him to miss entire 2002 spring season � dedicated member of the fencing program who has made strides in his ability while working with former Irish assistant (and current head coach) Janusz Bednarski � lettered as a sophomore on the 2001 squad, when he won nine of his 14 bouts (including wins over fencers from Wayne State and Cleveland State) � competed at the Northwestern Open in the fall of 2001 and again in �02 � named to Dean�s List for both semesters of 2001-02 academic year.

PREP & PERSONAL: Ran on the cross country team at Connersville High School, where he also was a member of the National Honor Society � born Nov. 20, 1980, in Oxford, Ohio � a double major in anthropology and film-theatre-and-television, in the College of Arts and Letters.
