Notre Dame Fencing competed against the club teams of Chicago, Illinois, and Michigan State on February 12th.
AS A JUNIOR: Finished the season with a 30-5 regular season record ... started the year with an 11-3 showing at the Northwestern Duals ... went 19-2 at the Notre Dame Duals, including five 3-0 marks against Lawrence, Wisconsin, Illinois, Cleveland State and Indiana ... finished 23rd at the Midwest Fencing Conference Championships ... in direct elimination, beat Xavier's Megan Jacobson (15-1) in the round of 64 before falling to Irish teammate Radmila Sarkisova, 15-2, I the round of 32.
AS A SOPHOMORE: Finished the season with at 22-4 regular season record ... opened her year with a 9-3 showing at the Northwestern Duals ... earned her first career victory against Fairleigh Dickinson's Rebecca Kellogg (5-4) ... went 13-1 at the Notre Dame Duals, including 3-0 marks against Oberlin and Cal Tech ... finished in 25th place at the Midwest Fencing Conference Championships ... in the direct elimination portion of the tournament, beat Aislen Hardee of Michigan State, 15-4, in the round of 64 before falling to Ohio State's Holly McKibben, 15-7, in the round of 32.
