    Emotionally-charged sabre who returned to Notre Dame program in 2003 after not fencing in 2002 due to illness (she did not compete in any 2003 bouts with the Irish) ... posted impressive All-America season in 2000, followed by another solid season in 2001 ... key addition to 2003 lineup, adding tremendous depth to sabre squad ... a strong and physical performer who has shown ability to pull out victories in tough situations ... totaled an 88-13 regular-season record in 2000 and `01 (.871) ... a streaky fencer who can dominate opponents when keeping her emotions in check ... an experienced competitor capable of executing difficult combinations ... joins captain Destanie Milo (a three-time NCAA participant) to form veteran core on women's sabre squad.

    AS A SOPHOMORE (2001): Compiled 39-9 record during regular season, with 5-6 mark at NYU Duals and 6-1 at Northwestern before winning all 18 of her bouts at the Notre Dame Invitational ... closed with 10-3 record at Duke Open.

    AS A FRESHMAN (2000): Rallied to All-America honors at the 2000 NCAAs, posting a 6-3 record on the second day of competition to vault from 15th to 10th (13-10 overall) ... her 49-4 regular-season record included a fifth-place showing at the Midwest Fencing Conference Championships ... clinched a spot in the NCAAs with her third-place finish at the Midwest Regional (7-4) ... posted a sixth-place finish in her first collegiate tournament (at the Penn State Open in the fall of 1999) ... registered 10 wins to help sweep four opponents at NYU Duals ... went 13-1 at Chicago Duals ... added an 11-0 record in sweep of four teams at Detroit Duals.

    PREP & PERSONAL: Trained at the National Fencers Club, coached by Janusz Mlynek ... placed 13th at 1999 World Cup ... attended the Oak Knoll School, where she lettered in lacrosse as a freshman and fencing as a junior - helping both those teams post undefeated seasons ... fenced foil and epee as a junior while helping Oak Knoll post its third consecutive state title.
