Graduate student who has returned for final year of eligibility, provided key boost to the young women's epee squad that includes just one other established veteran (junior All-American Amy Orlando) ... former walk-on who has developed into a quality college fencer, capable of beating top opponents with regularity ... has made big strides during her career as she has gained experience ... an eager and emotional competitor known for strong work ethic ... has a long reach due to 5-foot-11 frame ... serves as an excellent sparring partner for Orlando ... her tremendous team-oriented personality provides added leadership to the women's epee squad ... compiled 95-43 record in first three seasons with the Irish ... an excellent student who also has proven to be very studious in her expanding knowledge of fencing tactics ... placed sixth at the Penn State Open in the fall of `05 - with key wins over Harvard's Maria Larsen (5-4, 15-12) and Jasmine McGlade (4-3, OT) and Ohio State newcomer Alexandra Obrazcova (5-3), losing to ND teammate Kim Montoya in the quarterfinals ... had an impressive third-place finish in the d-1A bouts at 2005 Summer Nationals in Sacramento, Calif., placing behind only Eleanor Leighton and Evelyn Scarborough (she was 27th in the d-2 bouts) ... compiled a 3.71 grade-point average during her undergraduate years (as a political science major), capped by a 4.0 in the 2005 spring semester.

AS A SENIOR: Served key role as No. 3 epeeist for team that went on to claim the national championship, accumulating 36-18 record in regular season and nearly earning alternate status for the NCAAs ... opened 2-4 at NYU Duals (including 5-4 win over eventual NCAA participant Jean Goto of NYU) before going 23-10 at the Notre Dame Duals, including 2-1 win over Ohio State All-American Kaela Brendler (for 13-10 team score, with the Irish women going on to beat the #1 Buckeyes, 16-11) ... closed regular season with a 8-4 mark at the Duke Duals, including 4-3 win over UNC's Courtney Krolikoski (a 2005 NCAA participant) ... repeated her victory over OSU's Brendler with a 5-2 win at the Midwest Fencing Conference Championships ... also beat anoher NCAA Tournament veteran, Anna Vinnikov of Wayne State, at the MFCs (5-2) ... tied for third at the '05 Midwest Regional with a 7-4 showing that included top wins over Northwestern's Sharon Sullivan (5-3), Orlando (5-2), Vinnikov (5-2) and Ohio State's Marguerite Plekhanov (5-4 ) ... placed 12th at Northwestern Open in fall of `04.

AS A JUNIOR: Turned in solid '03-'04 regular season (39-19) before placing fifth at the MFCs and 10th at the Regional ... received ND fencing's Auriol Award ("most improved") ... her 5-7 record at Northwestern Duals included 5-3 win over Northwestern's Sara Pecherek (5-3) ... went 0-3 at Penn State and 4-2 at NYU Duals before taking third at home Turkey Shoot and going 14-5 at ND Duals (with 5-0 win over UC San Diego's Lauren Muir) ... closed '04 regulr season with 16-2 record at the West-vs.-Central Duals (at Purdue) ... helped beat OSU in MFC team quarterfinals with 5-1 win over Talia Viggers ... lost to Orlando in MFC quarterfinals (7-15) ... upset OSU's Brendler (the #3 seed) in 5-4 bout at Regional.

AS A SOPHOMORE: Earned first of her three monograms during 2003 national championship season, with her 20-6 record including 5-1 at the Ohio State Duals, 5-2 at the ND Duals and 10-3 at the Michigan State Duals.
