An undefeated trio paced the women's victory. The foil team was led two 4-0 performances from All-Americans Myriah Brown and Sara Walsh. Brown is 22-3 on the season while Walsh is 13-3. Senior captain Anne Hoos registered a 4-0 mark for the women's epee team. Hoos is leading the women's teams in victoires with her 28-5 record.
"I'm pleased with the results," said Notre Dame head coach Yves Auriol. "Harvard has several great fencers, and our intensity was very good in all five weapons."
Tomorrow the Irish fencers will compete at Brandeis facing the host school along with Boston College, Duke, NYU and North Carolina.
"It will be a very long day tomorrow," said Auriol. "If we fence with this intensity, we should be alright."
