The Notre Dame Sports Hotline (574-631-3000) will feature multiple daily updates from the NCAA Fencing Championships, to be held March 22-23 at Air Force. To access the fencing updates, dial 574-631-3000 and then select option eight (tennis and fencing), followed by option three.
Tournament results also will be posted regularly during both days of competition at www.ncaasports.com and www.airforcesports.com, with full recaps of the day's action available at www.und.com.
The condensed two-day format includes some minor changes, with Saturday's first bouts (men'srounds 1-4) moving up to a 9:00 a.m. start while the women's rounds 1-4 are slated to begin at 1:00 p.m. The men's rounds 5-7 then are to begin at 9:00 a.m. Sunday (followed by the women at 11:00), with the semifinal bouts in all six weapons to be held at 1:00 p.m., followed by the individual title bouts.
