The foil corral was the place to be in Sunday's second-to-last round, as Notre
Dame and Ohio State split four bouts while the strip was surrounded by vocal
supporters from both schools.

Alicja Kryczalo's win over Hanna Thompson gave Notre Dame an early in the foil
showdown that also included two other top fencers in Stanford's Iris Zimmerman
(fencing with the ND pair) and Princeton's Jacqueline Leahy (paired with OSU).

Amy Orlando's win over Penn State's Case Szarwark - with Kerry Walton and other
Irish fencers looking on - helped Orlando and Walton deliver a clutch sweep of
their final six bouts (four vs. PSU and two vs. Duke's Anne Kerschmer).

Alicja Kryczalo fenced Notre Dame's final round-robin bout of the four-day
tournament and delivered the win that clinched at least a share of the NCAA
title.
