AS A JUNIOR: Emerged as a key contributor and consistent No. 5 runner for the fifth-ranked Notre Dame cross country team ... one of two athletes to compete in all seven of the team's races in the fall ... passed four runners in the final 1,000 meters at the BIG EAST Cross Country Championships to finish in 24:27 and help the Irish win the competition by one point ... participated in his first NCAA Cross Country Championship ... cross country season bests were 24:27 over 8,000 meters at the BIG EAST Championships and 31:22 over 10,000 meters at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional ... won the mile at the Notre Dame Invitational indoor track meet with a time of 4:11.98 ... qualified individually for the BIG EAST indoor meet in the one mile run, scoring points for the eventual team champion ... did not compete during the outdoor track season.
