AS A FRESHMAN: Worked primarily as a miler during his first year in an Irish uniform ... finished ahead of a slew of teammates in the mile at the Blue & Gold Invitational ... dropped down to the 800 meters at the Notre Dame Invitational, running 1:55.67 ... had a breakthrough with a career best in the mile (4:18.77) at the Alex Wilson Invitational to cap his indoor campaign ... had an outstanding race in the 1,500 meters at the Indy Relays, dipping under four minutes to place seventh overall in a time of 3:59.46 ... followed up that performance with a 4:00.73 time at the Central Collegiate Championship.
HIGH SCHOOL AND PERSONAL: Enrolled in the College of Arts and Letters ... earned Dean's List status in spring 2006 semester with a 3.80 grade-point average.
