The Irish Track & Field team hosted the Meyo Invitational this weekend in the Loftus Sports Center.
AS A SOPHOMORE: Ran as a member of the sprints unit ... earned a monogram ... raced in the 200m, 400m and 500m in his second season with the team ... earned best time in 200m on the outdoor season at the Purdue Mike Poehlein Invitational, crossing in 22.80 while winning his finals heat and plac- ing ninth overall in the event ... best time in the event on the indoor circuit came at the Notre Dame Invitational after finishing in 22.88 to win his finals heat and place fourth overall ... strongest time in 400m outdoors came at the BIG EAST Championships during his preliminary heat, finishing in 48.24 to place eighth and qualify for the finals ... in said finals, finished eighth with a time of 49.04 ... quickest time in the 400m on the indoor circuit came at the Blue & Gold Invitational with a mark of 49.11, good for fourth place ... only competed in the 500m dash on the indoor season, winning a three-man race at the Notre Dame Invitational in 1:05.31.
AS A FRESHMAN: Opened Notre Dame career at the Blue and Gold Invitational ... ran the 400 (50.68) and teamed with the 4x400 relay (3:28.86) ... placed fourth overall in the open 400 (50.25) at the Notre Dame Invitational ... at the same meet, opened the 4x400 relay (3:27.84) ... ran the 400 in a personal-best 49.49 at the Notre Dame Indoor Opener ... first BIG EAST Indoor Championships appearance saw him go 50.44 in the 400 open ... opened the outdoor season at the Mike Poehlein Invitational with a 50.07 in the 400 ... in the 400 at the Border Battle, cross the line in 50.34 ... ran the second leg of the 4x400 relay that finished in 3:21.22 at the meet ... at the Dave Rankin Invitational, ran the 400 in 51.39.
