    AS A JUNIOR: Engineered a historic season, becoming the first Irish athlete to earn All-America honors in discus ... placed third at NCAA Championships in Fayetteville, Ark., allowing Notre Dame to have it's best team finish at the NCAA Championships since 1999, placing 24th in the nation ... Earned a spot in the finals with a 12th place finish, grabbing the last qualifying spot ... recorded a 51.52m throw in the finals ... had the top two discus throws on the team in 2009 ... also participated in shot put at select meets during the indoor season, including a first place finish in the Notre Dame Indoor Opener with a throw of 13.616m ... placed second to teammate Anna Weber in shot put at the Notre Dame Invitational indoor meet in January ... then edged out Weber by .08m at the BIG EAST Indoor Championships to finish sixth in the conference in shot put ... placed fifth in discus at the Arizona State Invitational, the first outdoor meet of the year, while also placing seventh in shot put ... finished ninth in discus in April's Mt.     AS A SOPHOMORE: Had an outstanding sophomore season that included her second consecutive trip to the NCAA Outdoor Championships ... opened the indoor season with back-to-back second-place finishes at the Blue and Gold Invitational and the Notre Dame Indoor Opener, tossing the shot put 13.29 meters and 13.05 meters, respectively ... finished third in the shot put with a career-best throw of 13.48 meters at the Notre Dame Invitational ... grabbed a sixth-place finish with a toss of 13.86 meters at the Indiana Relays ... finished 15th in the shot put at the Meyo with a throw of 13.26 meters ... closed out the indoor season at the BIG EAST Championships, finishing seventh in the shot put with a toss of 13.97 meters ... opened the outdoor season with a fourth-place finish (49.37 meters) in the discus and a fifth-place finish (13.71m) in the shot put at the Arizona State Invitational ... finished seventh in the discus with a throw of 49.78 meters at the Stanford Invitational ... took top discus honors at the Eastern Michigan Invitational with a throw of 48.20 meters ... also finished second in the shot put (13.68m) ... finished 14th with a discus throw of 44.58 meters at the Drake Relays ... garnered her second all-BIG EAST honor with a second-place performance at the BIG EAST Championship, tossing the discus 51.25 meters ... also finished seventh in the shot put with a throw of 14.08 meters ... set a new school record with a toss of 52.42 meters (172-0) at the NCAA Mideast Regional, finishing third in the discus ... capped off her season with a 25th-place finish at the NCAA Championships, registering a 46.57-meter toss in the discus.

    AS A FRESHMAN: Capped an exciting freshman season with a trip to the NCAA Outdoor Championships ... threw the shot put during the indoor season, establishing her best mark at the BIG EAST indoor meet where she threw 13.42m (44-0 1/2) in an eighth-place, point-scoring performance ... settled into her specialty, the discus, during the outdoor campaign ... made the first of many all-time Notre Dame top-ten performances at the Shamrock Invitational, throwing the discus 48.81m (160-1) ... also had her season-best shot put at that meet, tossing 13.52m (44-4 1/4) ... won the Mike Poehlein and Spartan Invitational discus competitions ... took first in the disc at the Hillsdale Gina Relays, posting a distance of 49.76m (163-3) ... finished eighth in the shot put and second in the discus at the outdoor BIG EAST meet to help the Notre Dame team win the league title ... the discus result gave her the first all-BIG EAST honors of her career ... qualified for the NCAA Mideast Regional in the discus ... posted the third-best toss in Notre Dame history and was only the second female ever to throw the discus more than 50m ... her fifth-place finish with that mark of 50.48m (165-7) automatically qualified her for the NCAA Championship and earned her All-Region honors ... one of just two freshmen to qualify for the NCAA meet in the discus ... finished 22nd at the national meet, registering a mark of 48.52m (159-2).

    HIGH SCHOOL AND PERSONAL: Four-year letterwinner in two sports (track & field and basketball) at Regis High School in Stayton, Ore. ... outstanding in both the discus and shot put, winning a combined total of seven Oregon Class 2A state titles during her prep career ... earned four consecutive state discus crowns (first Oregon high school female ever to win four championships in same throwing event) and three shot put titles ... best prep marks were school records of 48.18m (158-1) in the discus (2006 Oregon Class 2A state meet, setting new record for that competition) and 13.72m (45-0 ?) in the shot put ... discus mark (48.18m, 158-1) also was good for sixth-best in the nation for 2006 campaign ... set Oregon state meet record in shot put with 13.12m (43-0 ?) heave in 2006 ... named 2005 all-region Athlete of the Year by Salem Statesman Journal ... four-time all-Tri-River Conference pick ... also a two-time second-team all-state and three-time all-conference selection as a forward in basketball, averaging 14.7 points, 8.5 rebounds and 4.3 steals per game during her final three seasons ...
