AS A JUNIOR: Enjoyed a tremendous break out season in both cross country and track and field ... earned her first career All-America honors during the 2004 track and field season ... a key member of Notre Dame's cross country team which finished 10th at the NCAA Championship ... the 2003 season marked the first full-time cross country slate in her career ... began the '03 cross country season with her first career individual victory at the National Catholic (17:45) ... stayed consistent by finishing the same course in 17:44 to take seventh place in the Notre Dame Invitational ... second on the team in 12th place at the Pre-National meet ... also second on the team and earned first all-BIG EAST cross country honor of her career at the league championship, finishing sixth in 21:01 and helping the Irish claim their second-consecutive league title ... ran well at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional, finishing eighth overall in 20:56.0 ... struggled at the NCAA Championship, ending up 169th as Notre Dame claimed a 10th place finish ... immediately emerged as an All-American candidate in the mile during the 2004 indoor season ... steadily improved her indoor mile time during the team's schedule, beginning with a 4:52.32 in the Indoor Opener and eventually running 4:40.67 at the NCAA Championship ... ran the 1,000 meters at the BIG EAST Indoor Championship and finished seventh ... moved back to the mile for the Alex Wilson Invitational and finished fourth in 4:43.47 ... took fourth in her section of the NCAA mile preliminaries in 4:41.18 ... ended up seventh in the finals to earn her first career All-America certificate ... also competed in the NCAA Championship as a member of the distance medley relay team (finished 10th in 11:22.33 along with Lauren King, Kristen Dodd and Megan Johnson) ... earned all-BIG EAST honors by taking second on the DMR team at the league indoor meet (11:32.95) along with teammates Lauren King, Okechi Ogbuokiri and Molly Huddle ... focused on the 1,500 meters for the 2004 outdoor season ... began her march toward her second All-America honor of the season at the Stanford Invitational, finishing seventh in 4:19.66 ... earned third all-BIG EAST honor (cross country, indoor DMR) at the outdoor meet in the 1,500 meters, finishing third in 4:25.18 ... enjoyed a spectacular Georgia Tech Invitational, running personal bests in both the 800 meters (2:10.96) and the 1,500 meters (4:16.88) ... ran in the 1,500 meters at the NCAA Mideast Regional, finishing fourth in her section of the preliminaries (4:20.86) and fourth in the finals (4:18.16) ... moved on to the NCAA Championship in the 1,500 meters, taking sixth in the preliminaries (4:18.23) and ninth in the finals (4:21.26) to earn All-America honors.
AS A SOPHOMORE: Made dramatic improvements during the 2003 track and field season ... ended up as Notre Dame's top 800-meter specialist for most of the season and qualified for the inaugural NCAA Mideast Regional in the 1,500 meters ... qualified for the regional at the Drake Relays, running 4:35.35 to finish 16th ... ran very well at the regional, finishing seventh in her heat (4:28.55) and moving on to the finals, where she finished 11th (4:31.77) ... also ran at the Georgia Tech Invitational, finishing 18th in the 1,500 meters (4:30.45) ... won the 800 meters during the outdoor season at the Indy Relays (2:14.12) ... qualified for the BIG EAST outdoor meet in the 800 meters, finishing ninth in the preliminaries ... ran both the 800 and 1,000 meters during the indoor season ... qualified for the BIG EAST indoor meet in the 1,000 meters with a 2:53.40 effort at the Meyo Invitational ... scored for the team at the BIG EAST indoor meet, finishing sixth in the 1,000 meters with a 2:52.43 effort ... also competed for the Irish on the cross country course during the 2002 season ... won the 2002 National Catholic Junior Varsity race, completing the course in 19:27 ... ran the gold division race at the Notre Dame Invitational, finishing 26th overall ... completed the 2002 cross country season at the Bronco Open, finishing 22nd.
AS A FRESHMAN: Developed well during her first year of collegiate competition ... began the 2001 cross country season with a 38th-place finish at the Valparaiso Invitational ... ran the JV race during the National Catholic Invitational and finished eighth ... ended up 35th in the Central Collegiate Championships ... finished 12th in the Gold Division race during the Notre Dame Invitational ... indoor season began against Michigan State with a third-place finish in the 800 meters (2:16.95) ... ran the 1,000 meters during the Meyo Invitational, finishing third in 2:56.37 ... posted top 800 meter time of the indoor season during the Alex Wilson Invitational, finishing 11th in 2:12.76 ... started the outdoor season in the 800 meters, finishing 22nd at the Purdue Invitational in 2:21.86 ... ran well at the Tom Botts Invitational, finishing seventh in the 800 meters (2:14.39) ... also ran at the Butler Invitational, finishing sixth in the 800 meters ... competed in her first BIG EAST Conference championship at the 2002 outdoor meet, finishing 17th in the preliminaries of the 800 meters.
