AS A JUNIOR MEMBER OF THE VOLLEYBALL TEAM: One of Notre Dame's top offensive threats for the second straight season ... named honorable mention All-America by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) ... also garnered all-Northeast Region honors from the AVCA and was a second-team all-BIG EAST selection ... started all 30 matches and played in all 109 games ... played at opposite in every match before moving to middle blocker for the final two contests ... led team in kills (387/3.55) for second year in a row and was second in points (472.5/4.33) ... on Nov. 29 at Stanford, became the 14th player in Irish history to register 1,000 career kills ... set two Notre Dame records: consecutive matches with 10+ kills (21) and most kills in a match without an error (24) ... the former included the last six matches of 2002 and the initial 15 of `03 ... latter Irish record came on .571 hitting in three games vs. Valparaiso ... previous record was 23 by Jaimie Lee in 1995 ... missed ND record for kills in a three-game match by one ... a major reason Notre Dame led the nation in blocking (3.72) ... important in Irish defense that set school record for block average for second year in a row ... ranked eighth in conference -- and fourth on Irish -- in blocking (119/1.09) ... in BIG EAST matches, was among the league leaders in blocks (4th, 1.29), points (8th, 4.75), and kills (10th, 3.76) ... registered four double-doubles to bring career total to 12 ... joined Lauren Kelbley and Lauren Brewster to form the first Irish trio ever to have 350+ kills apiece in the same season

AS A SOPHOMORE: Continued her role as one of the top high jumpers for the Notre Dame women's track and field team ... became the first athlete in Notre Dame history to earn all-conference honors in two distinctly different sports (excluding indoor and outdoor track and field) ... broke through for her first individual BIG EAST Championship at the league outdoor meet in 2003, clearing 1.75m (5-8 3/4) to claim first place ... began the indoor season with a victory in the high jump vs. Western Michigan and Ball State ... came back the next weekend to win once again vs. Michigan State with a 1.75m (5-8 3/4) effort ... continued the win streak at the Meyo Invitational, clearing 5-7 3/4 to take first place in the competitive field ... finished second at the BIG EAST Indoor Championship with an impressive 1.79m (5-10 1/2) clearance ... has earned all-BIG EAST honors in all four conference high jump competitions in which she has competed ... ranked as one of the top 50 high jumpers in the nation for the indoor season and narrowly missed out on a qualifying effort for the NCAA Championship ... her BIG EAST Championship effort in the league outdoor meet marked her first competition of the outdoor season ... finished fifth in the high jump at the Georgia Tech Invitational.

AS A SOPHOMORE MEMBER OF THE VOLLEYBALL TEAM: Posted one of the top second-year campaigns in Notre Dame volleyball history ... all-BIG EAST first-team selection... AVCA all-northeast region first-team selection ... 2002 BIG EAST Championship Most Outstanding Player ... led the team in kills with 400 (3.70 per game) ... her 23 double-digit kill performances put her eighth all-time on the single-season list ... hit for 20 or more kills in five matches (22 vs. #10 Pepperdine, 21 at Purdue, 20 vs. Connecticut, 20 vs. St. John's and 21 vs. Miami (Fla.) in the BE Champ.), which ranks sixth all-time on the single-season charts ... compiled outstanding numbers across the board with 400 kills, 25 aces (0.23), 208 digs (1.93) and 108 blocks (1.00) ... led the team in solo blocks with 29 ... reached the 15-kill plateau in 10 matches during the season ... led Notre Dame to victory over #10 Pepperdine with a career-high 22 kills and six blocks ... earned the BIG EAST Championship Most Outstanding Player Award ... in the championship match against Miami (Fla.), posted 21 kills (on .462 hitting) with six digs, five blocks and two aces ... ended the season on a six-match run of double-digit kill performances ... earned a spot on the Shamrock Invitational and Golden Dome Invitational all-tournament teams ... named to the BIG EAST Academic All-Star team.

AS A FRESHMAN: Debuted for the Irish women's track and field team at the 2002 Meyo Invitational, finishing second in the high jump with a 1.73m effort (5-8) ... made the trip to the Windsor Team Challenge in Windsor, Ontario, and finished second, improving her season-best height to 1.75m ... played a large part in Notre Dame's first BIG EAST Conference women's team championship, finishing third to score six crucial points as the Irish earned the indoor team title with 112 points over Georgetown's 110 ... the 1.73m, third-place finish was good for all-BIG EAST honors and assured a spot in the BIG EAST Outdoor Championship high jump competition ... competed in just one outdoor competition, the 2002 BIG EAST Championship, finishing third once again to earn all-BIG EAST honors (5-7 clearance).

AS A FRESHMAN MEMBER OF THE VOLLEYBALL TEAM: Immediately stepped in as a rookie to start her first match and ended up with 27 starts in 29 matches (appearing in 94 of 103 games) ... third on the team in kills with 221 ... also had 147 digs and 56 blocks ... ended up with nine double-digit kill performances and two double-doubles ... had an impressive outing during the first weekend of competition, drilling 14 kills with eight digs, two blocks and an ace in the championship match of the Shamrock Invitational vs. Idaho ... played well in the regular-season matchup with Georgetown, scoring 11 kills with six digs and three blocks ... had 12 kills and three blocks at Connecticut in Notre Dame's four-game victory ... strung together three consecutive matches with double-digit kills at West Virginia (11 kills, six digs, two blocks), at Pittsburgh (10 kills, eight digs, four blocks) and vs. St. John's (12 kills, seven digs, seven blocks) ... stepped up in the five-game victory vs. Illinois State with 14 kills and a then-career-best 13 digs ... was spectacular in the BIG EAST Championship match against Georgetown, totaling 19 kills (on .368 hitting) with 10 digs and four blocks.

PREP AND PERSONAL: Three-sport standout at Bishop Luers High School in Fort Wayne, Ind. ... earned four letters each in volleyball, basketball and track and field ... two-time Fort Wayne News-Sentinel Female Athlete of the Year (1999-2000 and 2000-01) ...
