AS A SOPHOMORE: Started to emerge as one of the top hurdlers in the Midwest during the 2003 season ... stepped up to defend his BIG EAST Championship at the outdoor meet, winning his second-consecutive 110-meter hurdle crown in 13.95 ... saved his best race for last, blistering to 13.84 in the 110-meter hurdles to finish seventh in the NCAA Mideast Regional and just missed qualifying for the NCAA Championship ... one of the best all-around athletes on the team ... added the 60 meters during the indoor season and 200 meters during the outdoor season to contribute for the team at the BIG EAST Championships ... began the 2003 indoor season with eight consecutive victories in the 60-meter hurdles ... placed first at the Central Michigan Opener, against Western Michigan and Ball State, against Michigan State, at the Meyo Invitational and at the Windsor Team Challenge ... also won his first two 60-meter races of the season against Western Michigan/Ball State and Michigan State ... placed first in his heat of the 60-meter hurdles at the BIG EAST indoor meet and ended up second in the finals (7.97) to earn all-BIG EAST honors for the second-straight season ... also qualified for the BIG EAST indoor meet in the 60 meters, ending up eighth in the finals (7.00) ... capped the indoor season with a fourth-place finish in the 60-meter hurdles at the Alex Wilson Invitational ... concentrated almost exclusively on the 110-meter hurdles during the 2003 outdoor season ... began the slate with a third-place finish at the Baldy Castillo, then followed up with a victory at the Tom Botts Invitational (14.31) ... also ran the 200 meters at the Baldy Castillo (21.94), qualifying for the BIG EAST outdoor meet ... took third in his section at the Mt.
