June 9, 2004

The 2004 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championship in Austin, Texas, was washed out by a strong storm on Wednesday night, forcing the cancellation of a majority of Wednesday night's action. Only the women's 400-meter preliminary was completed on Thursday.

Sophomore Molly Huddle (5,000 meters), sophomore Stephanie Madia (5,000 meters) and junior Selim Nurudeen (110-meter hurdles) were scheduled to compete on Wednesday night. Meet organizers and the NCAA will release an updated schedule late Wednesday night and action will continue on Thursday. All Notre Dame competitor results will be available on www.und.com.
