    RESULTS 

    BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Two current members of the Notre Dame track and field team and one incoming freshman all qualified for the IAAF World Junior Championships this weekend at the USA Junior Track and Field Championships in Bloomington, Ind.

    Kaila Barber (400m Hurdles), Jake Kildoo (10,000m) and incoming freshman Dani Aragon (800m) all will head to Barcelona, Spain for the world junior championships that will be held from July 10-15.

    Kildoo crossed the line in second place in the 10,000m (31:04.61) to qualify for the world championships on Saturday evening.

    K. Barber qualified first in her heat and third overall in the 400m hurdles on Friday to advance to Saturday's finals. Her qualifying time was under a minute at 59.93. 

    She went lower in the finals on Saturday, finishing second in 58.32, to qualify for worlds. 

    Aragon took first in her heat and third overall in the qualifying round of the 800m run with a time of 2:10.45. 

    The Billings, Mont., native went way lower in the finals, finishing second in 2:05.06 to punch her ticket to the worlds.

    Jade Barber qualified second in her heat and fifth overall in the 100m hurdles on Saturday morning, crossing the line in 13.51 to advance to Saturday night's finals. In the finals, Barber claimed fourth in 13.55.

    In other weekend results, Keith Mesidor finished ninth in the long jump (7.17m) and Emily Morris took fifth in her heat and 16th overall in the shot put (13.18m).
