AS A JUNIOR: Established herself as one of the school?s best-ever cross country and track performers ... enjoyed a phenomenal 1998-99 season in which she garnered All-America honors for cross country, indoor track (5,000) and outdoor track (5,000, 10,000) ... National Monogram team MVP in both cross country and track and field ... ran in seven cross country meets, winning four straight to open the season ... placed 14th at the NCAA cross country championships with a time of 17:19.73, the fastest time ever by a Notre Dame runner at the NCAA meet ... became first two-time cross country All-American in school history ... ran at only two meets during the indoor track season, becoming Notre Dame?s first women?s indoor BIG EAST individual champion with a win in the 5,000 meters in 16:22.64 ... ran a career-best and school-record time of 16:10.16 in the 5,000 at the NCAA championships to earn a sixth-place finish, becoming the school?s first indoor women?s distance All-American ... set school records in the 10,000 (33:28.01), 5,000 (16:04.41) and 3,000 (9:18.31) during the outdoor track season ... two-time all-BIG EAST honoree with two second places in the 3,000 and 5,000 ... also competed in the NCAA championships where she finished third in the 10,000 with a time of 34:05.89 and fourth in the 5,000 with a time of 16:18.56, joining teammate Alison Klemmer as the only two-time women?s outdoor track All-Americans in Notre Dame history.
AS A SOPHOMORE: Made her first appearance in the 1998 NCAA indoor track and field championships, running to a 15th-place finish in the 3,000 meters with a time of 9:50.24 ... third-place time at the BIG EAST championships (9:38.61) came in the 3,000 meters ... ran in only three races during the outdoor season, grabbing a seventh place at the BIG EAST championships in the 3,000 meters ... one of the two leaders for the Irish cross country team along with classmate Alison Klemmer ... won the 1997 National Catholic meet and was first on the team at the Notre Dame Invitational and BIG EAST championships.
AS A FRESHMAN: Ran individually at 1996 NCAA cross country championships, placing third ... her third place earned her All-America honors and was highest finish ever in Notre Dame women's cross country history ... named a finalist for the Honda Award for cross country ... finished in top three in all seven cross country races ... placed second at 1996 BIG EAST championships to earn all-BIG EAST honors ... became the first Notre Dame runner to win the NCAA District IV meet title ... competed in both indoor and outdoor track.
