Irish To Host 33rd Annual National Catholic Championships

Notre Dame looks to defend their championship titles.

2012 Cross Country Season: Ran in three meets during the cross country season ... opened campaign by winning the 5K JV race out of 104 runners at the National Catholic Championship (18:04.7) ... followed that performance up with a 12^th place finish out of 116 runners at the 5K Notre Dame Invitational (18:02) ... closed year by taking 22^nd out of 107 runners in the 6K open race at the Wisconsin Invitational (21:38).

AS A FRESHMAN: Ran in three cross country meets during the fall season ... opened the year at the 5K Crusader Invitational by finishing sixth out of 81 runners (18:38.1) ... followed up with an 11th-place finish out of 105 runners in the 5K race at the National Catholic Championships (17:48) ... also ran in the 6K "B" race at the Wisconsin Invitational ... competed in 13 meets during the indoor/outdoor track and field season ... gathered in five first-place finishes and 10 top-five finishes ... helped the Fighting Irish score four points in the 1,000m run during the BIG EAST Indoor Championships finishing fifth (2:49.21) ... ran career best times in the mile (4:53.95) and the 1,000m (2:48.94) at the Notre Dame Meyo Invitational ... added a personal best in the 1,500m (4:26.67) at the Polytan Invitational finishing sixth in a field of 29 ... concluded, the season by running a season high in the 800m dash (2:09.02) during BIG EAST Outdoor Championship ... named a BIG EAST Academic All-Star ... earned a track and field monogram.
