AS A JUNIOR: Notre Dame's top finisher at the 2008 NCAA Cross Country Championship ... finished 99th in the nation in 21:24, helping the Irish finish 29th as a team ... helped lead Notre Dame to a first-place finish at the season-opening Valparaiso Invitational, finishing second, behind teammate Marissa Treece ... placed first at the National Catholic Championship, in 17:31, to help the Irish win the meet ... paced the Irish at the Notre Dame Invitational, completing the circuit in 17:04 ... finished 26th overall at the Pre-NCAA Meet in 21:01 ... earned her second all-league honor at the BIG EAST Cross Country Championship placing 13th in 20:58 ... helped the Irish place fourth at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional in 21:29, earning the team a trip to the NCAA Championship ... followed those strong cross country performances by participating in long distance events and the steeplechase during the track season ...
