AS A SOPHOMORE (Cross Country): Turned in a strong sophomore cross country campaign, earning all-BIG EAST and all-region accolades ... named all-BIG EAST after finishing 10th out of 123 runners at the conference meet, completing the 8K course in 23:52.2 ... earned all-region accolades after crossing the line 20th out of 211 runners at the 10K Great Lakes Regional (30:44.2) ... finished second for the Irish at the 10K NCAA National Championships (30:52.6), placing 110th out of 255 runners ... opened campaign at the 8K National Catholic Championships, taking second out of 255 runners (24:35) ... also placed 53rd out of 205 runners in the 8K blue race at the Notre Dame Invitational (24:56) and 81st out of 270 runners at the 8K Wisconsin Invitational.
AS A FRESHMAN: Competed in middle distances races during his first campaign with the Irish, taking to the track at four events on the season ... set his best mile time on the year at the Notre Dame Invitational, stopping the clock at 4:27.71 to finish in 17th ... raced in the 3,000m at the Indiana University Relays, finishing third in his finals heat and 11th overall with a time of 8:45.94 ... ran the 5,000m run at the Blue & Gold Invitational, placing fifth in the 17-member field after crossing in 14:45.95 ... ended season running in the 5,000m at the BIG EAST Indoor Championships, posting a time of 15:12.93 and finishing 21st.
