2012 Cross Country Season:Ran in five meets during the cross country season, including the BIG EAST, NCAA Great Lakes Regional and NCAA Championship meets ... finished 22nd out of 114 runners at the 8K BIG EAST Championship (25:13.69) to help the Irish take third out of 14 teams ... placed 31st out of 201 runners at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional meet (31:55) as Notre Dame finished fifth out of 30 teams ... opened year with an eighth place showing out of 276 runners at the five mile National Catholic Championship (24:52.1) ... took 46th out of 163 runners in the five mile blue race at the Notre Dame Invitational (24:29).
AS A FRESHMAN: Competed in two meets during the cross country season ... finished 18th out of 255 runners at the 8K National Catholic Championships (25:12) ... also ran in the 8K blue race at the Notre Dame Invitational (25:55) ... competed in eight outdoor and indoor track and field meets on the year ... placed sixth at the BIG EAST Outdoor Championships in the 10,000m with a time of 33:13.21 ... ran a season best 4:15.90 mile time at the Notre Dame Invitational ... achieved a fifth place finish at the Indiana University relays in his sole outing of the 3,000m with a 8:26.95 mark ... ran a season high in the 5,000m with a time 14:24.77 ... finished in 3:59.74 in the 1,500m at the Polytan Invitational ... placed second at the U.S. Junior National Championships in the 10,000m, earning a spot on the U.S. World Junior team that competed in Barcelona, Spain in July ... finished 11th and was first U.S. runner to cross the finish line ... competed at the NACAC Cross Country Championships in Trinidad in March, finishing ninth in helping the U.S. to a team title ... qualified for the meet after finishing fifth at the 8K USA Cross Country Championships in Saint Louis, Mo., in February ... named a BIG EAST Academic All-Star ... earned a track and field monogram.
