2012 Cross Country Season:Competed in the first four meets of the cross country season ... took third out of 60 runners at the season-opening 5K Crusader Invitational (18:10.2) ... finished 22nd out of 266 runners at the 5K National Catholic Championship (18:19.6) ... placed 11th out of 116 runners in the 5K gold race at the Notre Dame Invitational (18:00) ... closed out season with a 28th place showing out of 107 runners in the 6K open race at the Wisconsin Invitational (21:46).
PREP AND PERSONAL: Graduated from Gibson City Melvin-Sibley High School (Melvin, III.) in the spring of 2012 ... eight-time letterwinner in volleyball and track ... ran a 4:50 mile time (2012) that ranked as the fourth fastest time in Illinois state meet history ... was state champion in the 1,600m run, 800m run (2011, 2012) and in the 4x400m relay (2012) ... named Wendy's High School Heisman State Finalist and conference female athlete of the year in 2012 ... helped track team to become 1A runner-up by setting seven school records senior year ... track team was conference champions (2010, 2011) and sectional champions (2011) ... finished second in the mile, fourth in the 800m run and third in the 4x400 relay at the state meet sophomore year ... named team MVP three times, second team all-conference and second in most digs in volleyball (2010, 2011 2012) ... will see first time action in cross county at Notre Dame, due to high school program being absent of the sport ... named Valedictorian, foreign language student of the year, science student of the year, math student of the year , top community service student, and a National Honor Society member ... participated in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, interact club, leadership team, art club, project ignition, and in church youth group ... father, Mike, played football at Milkin University ... full name is Sydni Hannah Meunier ... born in Palo Heights, Ill. ... enrolled in First Year of Studies.
