2012 Cross Country Season:Competed in six of the seven meets during the cross country season including racing for the Irish at the BIG EAST Championship, NCAA Great Lakes Regional and NCAA Championship ... helped the Irish finish 15th out of 31 teams at the 6K NCAA Championship race ... took 31st out of 217 runners at the 6K Great Lakes Regional (21:06) to help the Irish take third out of 32 teams ... performance came two weeks after placing 36th out of 126 runners at the 6K BIG EAST meet (22:08) in helping Notre Dame to a fifth place finish out of 15 teams ... opened year with an eighth place finish out of 266 runners on the 5K course at the National Catholic Championship (17:38.9) ... took 39th out of 145 runners in the 5K blue race at the Notre Dame Invitational (17:22) ... closed out regular season by finishing 142nd out of 327 runners at the 6K Wisconsin Invitational (21:03).
AS A JUNIOR: Turned in outstanding junior campaign after returning from missing the entire 2010 season ... raced in all seven races on the year, pacing the team in six of them ... named all-region at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional after finishing 10th out of 227 runners on the 6K course with a time of 20:46.7 ... finished 18th out of 138 runners at the 6K BIG EAST Championships, narrowly missing all-BIG EAST honors by three spots after running a season-best 20:41.2 ... also ran for the Irish at the NCAA Championships (21:16.1) ... earned BIG EAST Female Cross Country Athlete of the Week accolades after winning the 5K National Catholic Championships by beating out 271 other runners (17:16) ... opened season with a second place finish out of 81 runners at the 5K Crusader Invitational (18:04.9) ... took 25th out of 225 runners in the 5K blue race at the Notre Dame Invitational (17:33) and 36th out of 305 runners at the 6K Wisconsin Invitational (20:46.5) ... competed in the 3,000m, 5,000m and 10,000m events ... participated in nine indoor/outdoor track & field meets for the Irish ... placed fifth at the BIG EAST Outdoor Track & Field Championships in the 10,000m run (35:33.69) ... was a sixth-place finisher at the Notre Dame Invitational in the 3,000m run (9:50.59), setting a personal best ... finished sixth at the Polytan Invitational in the 5,000m run (16:55.80) ... was a participant in the 10,000m run at NCAA East Preliminary Round and at the NCAA Championships ... was a 2011-12 Rosenthal Leadership Academy participant ... named a BIG EAST Academic All-Star ... earned a track and field monogram.
