2012 Cross Country Season:Competed in the final six cross country meets of the year, highlighted by an all-region selection the NCAA Great Lakes Regional meet ... competed for the Irish at the NCAA Championship 10K meet ... earned all-region honors at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional after finishing 18th out of 201 runners on the 10K course (31:37) ... helped the Irish to a fifth place finish out of 30 teams ... took 23rd out of 114 runners at the 8K BIG EAST Championship meet (25:14.03) as Notre Dame finished third out of 14 teams ... opened year with a seventh place finish out of 276 runners at the five mile National Catholic Championship (24:46.0) ... crossed the line 39th out of 163 runners in the five mile blue race at the Notre Dame Invitational (24:24) ... closed out regular season at the 8K Wisconsin Invitational.
AS A SOPHOMORE: Competed in six meets during the cross country season ... finished 56th out of 123 runners at the 8K BIG EAST Championships (25:06.5) ... placed 42nd out of 211 runners at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional (31:20.6) ... also competed for the Irish at the 10K NCAA National Championships ... opened year with a fourth place showing out of 255 runners at the 8K National Catholic Championships (24:44) ... crossed the finish line in 68th place out of 165 runners in the 8K blue race at the Notre Dame Invitational (25:10) ... also ran in the 8K Wisconsin Invitational, taking 98th place out of 270 runners (24:48.0) ... won a cross country monogram ... competed in three outdoor track and field meets ... ran to a third-place finish in the 5,000m (14:43.90) at the Texas Roadhouse Border Battle ... finished seventh in the 1,500m run (4:01.84) at the Purdue Mike Poehlein Invitational ... placed 11th in the 5,000m run (14:54.66) at the Hillsdale College "GINA" Relays.
AS A FRESHMAN: Ran in three cross country events on the season while also competing in the one mile, 3,000m and 5,000m runs during the track season ... in the cross country season, earned best finish at the Notre Dame Invitational, placing 107th in the "Blue" race with a time of 25:45... placed 156th at the Pre-National Meet, crossing at 25:39.4 ... concluded his cross country schedule at the Great Lakes Regional, finishing in 184th in 32:34 ... on the track season, posted best time in the mile run at the Notre Dame Invitational, finishing in 4:19.10 to earn 12th place ... quickest time in the 3,000m came at the Indiana University Relays as he crossed in first in his heat and fifth overall with a time of 8:41.11 ... best mark in the 5,000m came in his opener at the Blue & Gold Invitational when he crossed in 14:59.74 to earn a seventh-place result ... competed in the 5,000m run on two other occasions at the Meyo Invitational (15:11.92) and the Alex Wilson Invitational (15:09.48), crossing in 28th and 11th place, respectively.
