AS A JUNIOR: Proved to be a valuable member of the Irish cross country team during the 2002 season ... emerged as one of the team's top eight runners ... began the season by finishing seventh at the adidas Invitational ... moved up to fourth at the National Catholic ... helped Notre Dame finish third at the Notre Dame Invitational with a 24th-place effort ... ran at the Pre-National meet, finishing 93rd ... turned in a solid race at the highly-competitive BIG EAST Championship, finishing 49th overall while helping the Irish claim the team title ... Notre Dame's seventh finisher at the NCAA Championship, placing 225th ... did not compete during the 2003 track and field season.

AS A SOPHOMORE: Competed in the first three cross country races of her career in 2001 ... helped the Irish finish second at the Valparaiso Invitational with a 26th-place finish ... moved up to 25th at the Central Collegiates, as Notre Dame finished fourth ... ran the Gold Division race at the Notre Dame Invitational, finishing 36th ... enjoyed a solid track and field season, after posting the third-best indoor 5,000 meter time and third-best outdoor 5,000 meter time on the team in 2002 ... began the 2002 indoor season with a sixth-place finish in the 3,000 meters against Ball State and Western Michigan ... moved up to fourth place in the 3,000 meters against Michigan State (10:20.90) ... ran the 5,000 meters at the Meyo Invitational, taking second place in 17:50.08 ... qualified for the BIG EAST indoor meet and ended up 11th in the field ... returned to the 3,000 meters for the Alex Wilson Invitational and placed 15th ... began the outdoor season with her first track and field individual victory at the Purdue Invitational, taking first in 17:45.81 ... moved down to the 3,000 meters at the Spring Opener, taking third in 10:13.41 ... made the trip to the Tom Botts Invitational, finishing third in the 5,000 meters (17:40.79) ... qualified for the 10,000 meters at the BIG EAST outdoor meet, eventually finishing sixth (37:10.50).

AS A FRESHMAN: Did not compete during the 1999 cross country or 2000 track and field season due to a knee injury.

HIGH SCHOOL AND PERSONAL DATA: Competed for four years on the varsity cross country team at Cathedral High School in Indianapolis, Ind. ... two-time cross country team MVP, while also earning two MVP honors in track and field ... earned all-city honors three years of cross country competition and all four years of track and field ... earned the track and field team Mental Attitude Award in 1998 and 2000 ... won two city titles in the 1,600 meters and finished as a runner up two times as well ... helped the track team earn the city title in 1997, 1999 and 2000 ... member of the National Honor Society ... born June 16, 1982 ... enrolled in the College of Arts and Letters with a dual major in political science and Spanish.
