    1. Use five words to describe yourself.
Dedicated, hardworking, kind, friendly, generally happy

    2. What is your favorite class or professor to date at Notre Dame, and why?
My favorite class has been my general biology class with Professor Tenniswood. I think that since I want to be a doctor it had a lot of relevance to what I want to do and he made everything so interesting. And he is Canadian, and so am I.

    3. Do you read horoscopes? If you do, do you believe in them? If not, why not?
I actually do read the horoscope in The Observer. I don't like to admit it. I like to think when it's a good day, it will be right, and if it's a bad day, I forget about it.

    4. What is your major? Why did you choose this major?
My major was science pre-professional. I'm a graduate student, so I'm taking biology graduate classes. I chose this major because I want to go to medical school.

    5. If you could have a meal with anyone, dead or alive, who would it be?
It would be my great-grandfather. I never met him, and my mom talks about him and he seems like a pretty amazing guy.

    6. What is the first thing you think about when you wake up?
    Breakfast.

    7. Do you have any siblings?
I have 2 younger siblings. My sister Aly runs for Michigan and my other sister Kristen is in high school.

    8. What is your favorite movie?
This is such a cliché for runners, but it would have to be Without Limits about Steve Prefontaine.

    9. Who was your role model as a child? Why? Has your role model changed now that you are older?
My role model would be my mom. She's just the strongest lady I've ever met and she tries to do everything for everyone. She's always so busy, but she takes the time to give us whatever we need or be there for us. She's always been there for me.

    10. Where is the most interesting place you have traveled?
Hungary. I traveled there for the World Youth Championships when I was 17. I had never been abroad and it was my first experience.

    11. If you could choose any year of your life to live over again, what year would it be?
I would say my freshman year. That was when I broke my femur in a skiing accident and it took me out of running for a long time. If I could live that over again, I would not have gone snowboarding that night.

    12. What annoys you the most?
Slow walkers. Anyone who knows me knows I'm a really fast walker. I'm always late, so I always have to walk fast.

    13. What are your plans for after graduation?
I just finished applying to medical school, so if I get in that's what I would like to do. I also recently thought about doing a year of service in South Bend, at the clinic I'm doing volunteer work at.

    14. If you could eat only one thing for the rest of your life, what would you eat?
Any type of sweet. I have such a sweet tooth. Not chocolate, but any gummy or sugary candy.

    15. What is the best book you've ever read?
The Kite Runner and then the follow-up, A Thousand Splendid Suns

    16. What do you like the most about being at Notre Dame?
I would have to say the general atmosphere of the students is my favorite thing about Notre Dame. I took so many trips when I was being recruited and the main thing that made me want to come here was my teammates. Everyone I've met on campus was so friendly and helpful. I think there is a great atmosphere on campus.

    17. Describe your perfect day - who would you spend it with, what would you do, where would you be?
Sitting in bed, watching "Sex and the City" all day and it would be with all my roommates.

    18. Who was the most famous person you have ever met?
My sister and I met the actor who played Jim's dad in "American Pie" (actor Eugene Levy).

    19. Where is your favorite place on campus?
This is weird but our team locker room. It's so relaxed and I love hanging out with my teammates in there. So when I'm on campus and not in class, I'm in the locker room.

    20. How has being a student and athlete at Notre Dame influenced your life?
Being an athlete here has allowed me to be friends with all my teammates and they're probably the most important people in my life right now. So they've influence my life a lot. As an athlete here, I've had the chance to travel all around and meet some amazing people. It's definitely reinforced my desire to be a doctor after being a student-athlete here because of the amazing care I've had by doctors here.
