Notre Dame Baseball Adds Final Two Makeup Games

The Notre Dame baseball team has added two final makeup games, bringing the 1998 regular-season schedule back to 56 games.

Notre Dame and Manchester will play a doubleheader at Eck Stadium on Tuesday, April 14 (5:05 PM). The teams originally were scheduled to play just one game.

The Irish also have added a home game on Thursday, April 30 vs. the University of Chicago (3 PM).

Notre Dame has seen nine of its games this season canceled due to weather, in five different cities (just one home game has been rained out).

Two other remaining makeup games already were on the schedule: Monday, April 13 vs. Wisconsin-Milwaukee (4 PM) and Thursday, April 23 vs. Toledo (6:05 PM).

The remaining 19-game home schedule includes BIG EAST Conference series versus three of the league's top teams: Rutgers (April 9 doubleheader), St. John's (April 25-26) and West Virginia (May 2-3).
