    JUNIOR SEASON (2009): Highly-rated prep pitcher who could take on greater role on 2009 Irish staff, after making seven appearances as a freshman and only one as a sophomore ... has shown signs of promise and has physical ability to be effective power pitcher, with 6-foot-6, 205- pound frame and high arm slot for significant downward plane on mid-80s fastball and hard-down breaking ball ... could prove to be solid bullpen option, after continuing to fine tune adjustments with his stride and directional ... made key adjustments to his leverage and arm speed ... made one appearance out of the bullpen for the victorious Blue in the Blue-Gold World Series ... tossed 3.2 innings of relief and allowed two earned runs on five hits ... struck out three and did not issue a walk ... spent the summer of 2008 with the Laramie Colts of the Mountain Collegiate League ... helped Colts capture league championship ... went 5-1 with a 3.23 ERA in 12 games (eight starts) ... struck out 29, walked 23 and surrendered 51 hits in 47.1 innings.

    FRESHMAN SEASON (2007): Pitched 2.0 relief innings for Blue in game-3 of 2006 Blue-Gold World Series ... allowed three runs on five hits ... issued a walk, but struck out a pair in the victory ... made one start among his seven appearances during 2007 season (5.40 ERA, 0-1 record, 9 Ks, 5 BB, 15 H, HB,WP, 10 IP) ... made his debut with the Irish versus Iowa, at Stetson (1.2 IP, 2 R, 2 H, 2 BB, K; 1-8) ... pitched in 17-9 win over Western Michigan (IP, R, 3 H, BB, 2 Ks) ... his 3.0 shutout innings (6th-8th; H, BB, K, 11 batters faced) helped Notre Dame rally from 5-0 deficit to beat Toledo, 8-7 ... pitched during the summer of 2007 for the Dubois County Bombers, helping that team finish atop the Central Illinois Collegiate League standings ... compiled a 3.86 ERA, 3-2 record and 25 strikeouts in 22 appearances and 37.1 innings with the Bombers, allowing only 24 hits (.186 opp. batting avg.) in that wood-bat league (also had 27 walks, 4 hit batters, 7 wild pitches and a save, with one start) ... former Notre Dame RHP Dan Kapala and current Irish first baseman Casey Martin (a league all-star) also were members of that Bombers team, as was Seton Hall catcher Chris Affinito.
